Another Sunday morning, and in spite of the barely four hours of sleep I netted last night, I'm glad to be awake. Job number one is done today, Job number two awaits but that will be a breeze once I've scripted my show (playlist is done, woohooo!).
I love the Bagel Basement at the Dartmouth campus. And not just because all the help is really cute
It's a cozy place to enjoy breakfast with a newspaper and some non-muzak music filling the shop.
I've found over the last couple of weeks that I seem to be "fitting in" more here at SG. After months of lurking and the occasional post here and there people are starting to notice me. Rockinroll, mate. I'm slowly but surely building up this lil friends list of mine. This place really is a unique community. I just hope the mix of wit, beauty, and relative civility remains intact as more and more people discover it.
Mid 30's this week in Northern New England. It's gonna be a great ski week ahead... uncrowded slopes rock. If I can swing it maybe I'll take a drive to Wildcat Mountain, just to ski one of my favorite trails, the Wildcat trail.

Nashua is definitely a tax-free extension of Mass... in my high school German class we learned to say "Ich komme aus Nashua, das ist ein Vorort von Boston" (I come from Nashua, it is a suburb of Boston).
