Christmas in New Orleans. NEVER expected I ever would have seen a WHITE CHRISTMAS in New Orleans. But now I have. Hasn't happened in over 100 years. BIG fluffy flakes of snow.. My family was going nuts. It's odd how I'm completely sick of snow when I'm in Denver, yet, in New Orleans, it felt like I was seeing it again for the first time.
While I didn't get anything off of my wishlist from the other day (not that I really expected to), I did get some cash and certificates to Best Buy (that place is my true weakness - I swear I can't walk out of there for less than 100 bucks), a new range bag (desperately needed - my old one was a beat up duffle bag to begin with and was covered in spilled gunpowder, holes from various knives carelessly thrown in, and lots of dirt from being at outdoor ranges for things like "the annual blow up the world" mad scientists gathering), and a locking travel case for the pistol (another needed item since I travel so much and my previous case was starting to get me questions from airlines about whether they could really let me on the plane with it or not.)
Two more days here, then off to Philly. I'll be hitting Vegas on the 6th for CES and AVN. I *think* I get to go back to Denver around the 14th. That could change.
