I finally started to see some relief for my aching back. It's been hurting me for about a month now, brought on by working. Toward the end of August, I had a few days in a row of doing 4 or so massages per day, and that aggravated the demonic pain to the right of my Thoracic spine that radiates up into my head. I...

My trainer tells me yesterday I've gained a few pounds - not in a bad way, he said it was good weight, in my chest and my shoulders. I weighed myself as soon as I got home, and I've actually hit 170, which is a lot for me. For the most part I've been between 160-165 for about the last 8 years. Of course my...

I'm lucky because my parents' divorce was fairly amicable. I was 17 at the time too.
I mean they should have gotten divorced YEARS earlier, but I think they wanted to stay together for us kids. (Or at least until we were old enough to deal with it.) When they announced it to us kids I was like "FINALLY" but my younger brother and sister really struggled with it.
We had a family BBQ about a month ago, my mom, her new bf, my dad, his "domestic partner" (girlfriend), it was only really awkward for me and my sister...

As for the alimony issue (rant spoilered)

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
I think it depends on the situation. Right now my husband and I are scraping together every penny we have to stay afloat because he has to send his ex wife $750/month in alimony, meanwhile she's living with her mom, working full time, and she didn't hold up ANY of her part of the divorce agreement. So neither of us think it's fair he's stuck giving her money.
At the same time, I know families where the mom was a stay a home mom, who realistically would struggle desperately in this economy to find a job, let alone one that would support her, and I think it makes sense in that sort of situation...

And finally I got my license renewed online. I paid off all my tickets, waited in line at the RMV for an hour, and when I got to the line I couldn't renew my license because one of the towns that ticketed me hadn't removed the hold on my renewal even though I'd paid it. Sonofabitch. I had to rush home for an appointment, and...

A month from today I'll be in Vegas.

That's the good news. For now I have to work my ass off to make sure I can afford to get my license renewed (see previous post). I still have another 3 tickets to pay.

It's been kind of a slow week, but it's picking up. Saturday I had a 9:30 am appointment, and I hate morning...

I know this may be little more than stating the obvious, but don't let people borrow your car. I had a roommate about 4 years ago, and it's one of those situations where I keep saying "If only I hadn't lived with that asshole..." I've had one brief problem with drugs, and it was a direct result of him putting it right under my nose,...

I'm glad business has picked up, I was starting to get worried for a little while. July is usually one of my busiest months of the year. I posted a new photo on one of my work ads, and my response from that site has at least doubled since then. So I had 3 appointments this week from that ad and maybe 1 other inquiry...

Is it possible to die of boredom?

Work has been slow as of late. I was supposed to have an appointment at 2:30, but he cancelled. We had the feeling he would. He was clearly looking for something a little too far ourside our usual massage services.

So I've been spending most of the day tinkering around on the computer. SG, FL, CL, whatever I...

Fetish Flea Market was today, and as usual we ended up with some fun stuff, and even saw some of our openminded friends. Awww. kiss

So new items acquired:

1 book on how to properly tie someone up
1 under-the-bed restraint kit
1 glass dildo for my main squeeze (now in the freezer where she likes it)
1 small leather flogger

And that's it. That may...

I may have to put my half-sleeve on hold for a while. I have a lizard tattoo on my right arm, and I don't dislike it, but it's standing in the way of progress, so I enlisted someone to draw a half-sleeve around it. After all, a lizard tattoo is symbolic to me... I'm a chameleon. And Lizard was a strange unexplained highschool nickname.

This...

So I went to the South Shore today for a 4th of July BBQ put on by a former bandmate, Mike from Bitter Season. I only really went because there wasn't anything happening closer, and I wanted a chance to play a few of the old songs that I haven't sung outside the shower in a very long time. Apparently Mike and Greg (bass player...
