Wow, I have two days in a row to sleep in. Well, tomorrow Ellison has a play date at 10:30. I may cancel. Today was the first day of his summer break. I didn't have to get up and drive across town to drop him off at school. There was no 9 am soccer game across town. No early ass event to attend. No school function at the crack of dawn. I stayed in bed until almost 9:30. It felt so good. I rarely get to sleep past 7.

I've been busy for the last couple of weeks, but I'm not so sure what I've been doing. Just that I've been busy. Lots of everyday life.

I've been experimenting with makeup. I haven't worn any is 15 years or so. I don't know where it came from but all of a sudden I had the urge to fix up my eyes. I bought a few different color eyeliners and eyeshadows. I have been experimenting with different ways to put them on. I like it!

I'm just about done with Christmas. I really don't like the pressure the season brings. And I don't like the hectic atmosphere of the malls and shopping.

What I do like is that I get to spend Chrismas with my boy this year. Santa will come to our house. That makes me happy. I like that we will take a carriage ride to see the christmas lights. I like that Dennys will be open for breakfast on Chrismas morning. I like that I had just enough room on my credit card to buy Ellison what he really wants for Christmas, and that those things were not expensive. I like that I am off work Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
