I don't have to telll you how terrific I think you are, but I will anyway. You're an amazing person and true friend.

I hope you had a good Easter. I 'm getting ready to spend most of the day with my family. It's a beautiful day here in NYC. I'll try to take pics. It's been a long time since I posted any and the grandkids have gotten so big.

I'd love to talk to you whenever you get a chance.

I'm rooting hard for you to experience the best possible outcome from your meeting with Karl. If anyone deserves to find happiness, it's you. I know it's hard, but try to take a step back and take some pressure off of yourself.

Remember, he's going through the same doubts and questions as you are. Whether you want to believe it or not, you have a lot going for you. I see it and so will he, unless he's blind. I'm hoping to hear good things coming out of this.

The last line of your comment blew me away. There have been young people on SG who have seen me as father figures. In most of their cases, their own dads either weren't there for them when they were growing up or at the present time, or both.

I've always felt paternal, but thought of those feeling exclusively when it came to my own daughters. Since joining SG, I've beeen fortunate to be able to provide those qualities to others. It's a great feeling to be seen in that way by certain people who were deprived of that in their own lives.

I'm not saying that's the case with you with your dad. I don't know enough about the relationship between the two of you. However, I'm moved that you would say what you said about me. Thank you.

I'm sure of what I want. I hope I've found it with Kathy. If, after my visit, it turns out that it isn't right, I'll still look for something similar elsewhere.

I've got a lot of support and encouragement from some very good people. It's a good feeling that there are people around like you that think enough of me not to judge what and who I am.

After the initial shock to my system of not being able to communicate with Kathy for the time being, I'm trying to use the time to go over things about us in my mind. I'm sure she's doing the same. If we're right for each other, a brief vacation from each other won't hurt us. It will make us stronger if we were meant to be together.

i know! omg it was tough to get back in to the swing of it. but i think i really rocked my final exam. it was 20%of my final grade. I really hate the lab part of the the teacher was a total douche bag

I'm glad you and Ellison are having such fun together. JUst like fathers and daughters, there's a special bond between mothers and sons.

I got a kitten Actually I got two kittens, but one killed itself So I am down to one kitten.

I wanted a dog, but I do not have time for a dog, hell this kitten is demanding a lot of my time

first of all, i'm always here for you. Second, if anyone's been through the wringer over the past year, it's me. Yet, as you can tell by reading my blogs and comments, and by talking to me, that i've turned the corner big time. I have no doubt that you will as well, and soon.
