Today marks a very special day for me. I've decided to change my name and I'd like to explain a little bit of why I made this change.

When I originally decided on a name to use for my modelling and SuicideGirls I was in a very unhealthy and abusive relationship. The man I was with influenced me in allot of negative ways and ultimately I became very unhappy and my health plummeted. The name Luna Starr was always attached to him in my mind and after leaving that relationship and obtaining a restraining order against him I've learned to put myself first. My health and my happiness are the most important things to me and SuicideGirls has been a huge part of my recovery and rebuilding myself. I'm blessed to have such a supportive community behind me and I wanted my name to represent me and all the shit I've worked for over the last year. Thank you for following me on my journey and being there to see me grow it genuinely means the world to me to know there are people out there who don't even know me yet are here supporting me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
