I went out tonight dressed in an old countenance. an old laugh, an old smile.
Like one of those women with a meticulosly made up face. A painting on flesh of another reality.
And it was perfect for the moment.
Then I came home, washed, and looked full at the raw thing in the mirror.
Tonight I'll fall asleep listening to the songs of the moment, which speak to a different direction than I've been before. And I keep staring up at the sky tonight on the ride home. Thinking that the moon is quickly approaching full, which somehow means I don't have much time left. I'm not exaclty sure for what, But I do feel an increased push.
