I'm loveing both of todays new sets. Way to go sg.

I also picked up a dresser gig for the next month. I need the work and I wasn't picking up quite enough hours at the coffee shop gig as I wanted. So now I'm officially working two jobs, three if you count the design work.

Also, I realized yesterday that I am just ridiculosly bad with children. Its not as if I don't like them or even find them an annoyance, I just don't know how to talk to them at all. Yesterday my manager left me alone in the shop with her kid for a bit and we just stared at each other like contestants on American Gladiator... he's expecting me to say something entertaining and I'm expecting him to sprout a second head and start spewing kool-aid from his ears.
Even when I used to work with kids I was like that. Everything was fine during classes, but as soon as one of my students saw me outside of the school it was all kinds of different. The lil squirts would run up and attach to me and chatter away while I stood there feeling rather blank and looking at them like they were some sort of alien threatening to attack. what the fuck.
