I could rattle off the trivial reasons:
-Interview time has been moved to the asscrack of dawn.
-Meeting with director has been postponed to the end of the month, putting me even further behind.
-Two rather important pieces of mail were returned to me with apparent postage problems, which jeopardizes a great many things
-I was shunned quite loudly and quite publicly.
-I seem to be harboring the same cold thinggy that everyone else is.

Or I could just admit that I'm plagued lately by terrible memories that I thought I had long since put to rest...and I'm facing terrible possibilities that I've been trying for months to avoid.

Essentially I'm in a bit of a funk. And I'm sure its all just menstrual, but I ended up calling my Ma last night. I never call her. We've been like warring nations for years now, so long entrenched we don't even know why we are enemies anymore. But we've been tiptoeing around a tentative truce lately...and last night she was more than happy to let me warble in her ear. and I'm grateful.
