So, I start my new position on the 26th and I was resolved not to step in and do anything until that date.
But that didn't exactly happen.

I went by the shop a few days ago to drop off some purchases and sorta snapped. The place was an utter shithole. I ripped off my heels, grabbed a pair of sneaks from the back wall, hiked my vintage pencil skirt up over my hips and stormed towards the prop area.
The only person in the shop that day was my roomate, who laughed his ass off at me as I stormed by looking like a downtown powerwalker. He did help me lug a desk back into the costume area though. He also gave me a big lecture on how I was destined to fail at turning this place around. I told him to shut his face and hand over his shop key, because I intended to stay there all damn night.
And I did.
And the night thereafter.
And I'm going back today.
