So, tonight I'm going to watch my first ever ice hockey game. Chicago v. Detroit. I figure, one of these days I'm gonna go to the states to work/live for a while so I'll need a sport to satisfy my need for seeing men smash into each other.

While I am all for watching hockey games..... Nothing better sportswise......... Should warn you, that is actually much more popular in Canada than the USA, as far as countywide goes. In northern states, is very popular, but as you get into the more southern states much less so. Understandable, not much chance for ice skating or hockey in places like Arizona, American football, basebal and basketball, much more popular. Also hockey much more fast paced than a lot of other sports, and the occasional fight is always good viewing.
