You're suppose to pop the sleeping pills before you go on the flight. This way you'll be too high to care that you're sitting next to an asshole. 
Yeah I've ridden Greyhound a couple of times and it's a 50/50 chance that you'll either sit next to a normal person or to some over talkative creepy smelly guy haha.
