It's natural when you feel one way about a long standing situation to continue feeling that way or similar when you learn it might come to an end. Not getting ones hopes up is a long standing coping mechanism and shifting emotional gears is sometimes a bit of a process. Seroiusly, don't worry to much about it. If you still feel somber through out the entire time seeing him, then worry.
When you get into a funk, it is really hard to get yourself out of said funk. That is the danger of depression.
And don't worry about having a plan. Some people are raised or wired genetically to be plan makers and others aren't. Don't get down on yourself just b/c you do things differently. Get down on yourself when you do things differently and your a homeless crack head. Then you can worry that your doing something wrong.

I didn't think Rent was all that great, but the 3 other people I went with loved it haha.
I would imagine you would feel differently about someone if you haven't seen them in 5 months. Maybe when he visits you in a couple weeks things will change when you start spending time with him again.

The coolest gift in my opinion is the Geil PC3200 1GB stick of RAM I bought my brother for his computer. Its the cool kind with the heat spreaders and everyhting. I am so jealous.
