1. I am now the owner of a bicycle. This is kind of crazy (ref. several journal entries ago) b/c I recently fell off of a bicycle.
2. I possibly could be leaving my current job. I'm torn on the situation. I :hearts: my job very much. I'm really, really good at it too. However, a recent opportunity has presented itself, and I'd kind of be an idiot not to at least check it out. I've been on two interviews already. The supervisor for the company has mentioned that he would def. be in touch with me very soon. I'm very sure I already have the job (if I want it). *On a side note* When I met with the supervisor he asked several questions about my family, and I explained that one of his co-workers (in a different dept.) was my uncle. That he was married to my Dad's younger sister. The supervisor then asked "Are you XXX's daughter?" He then proceeded to tell me that he and his family had visited us at the beach (when I used to live in Florida) like 14 years ago. ..then went on about having photos of his family and mine swimming in our pool. HA! Weird.
3. There is a melange of new people in my life these days.
4. I think it's time for this girl to buy an iPhone. I've had my phone for well over a year now. It's the longest that I have ever kept a phone. I'm always trading out for the newest, faster, sleeker, younger model.
5. I'm jumping out of a cake later this evening. I'm very, very, nervous. I'm not sure how I ended up in this situation, but I am pretty sure it has something to do with #3 on my list (see above). I've never actually jumped out of a cake before. I really don't even know how to do it. I think I am going to have to get very drunk before this takes place. Cocktails, immediately!
6. I'm am really loving the new Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band cd. Amazing stuff, amazing writer, and The Mystic Valley Band includes some amazing musicians. I implore you to go and get a copy on Aug. 5th!
7. I'm currently taking applications for a mid-summer crush. Do not apply if you:
weigh more that 100 lbs, are not in some sort of band, and shower daily.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone jump out of a cake in real life before. Only just in movies and TV shows hehe.
