Update:
Japanese class is amazing. That said, it is probably the most difficult and time consuming class that I have ever taken. I think the experience of this class will be well worth all of my headaches, sweat, freak-outs, and tears.
Thus far:
I can introduce myself: Hajimemaste, Little_Lady des, dozo youoshiku.
I can ask maybe four of five questions: What is your name? Where are you from? What grade are you in? What is your major. I can also answer those questions.
I can read and write hiragana (so I am still working on that, but I can do it).
I am amazed at the progress that I have made. It may seem minor to everyone else, but to me it is a huge accomplishment. I am really looking forward to progressing with this class.
