As days go by

It's the 7th day of the new year and for some reason I can't close my eye completely. We are all guessing it's nothing, just me being tired due to all the driving. Hours pass and my siblings crack a joke, I laugh and my sister looks at me oddly and asks if I'm faking my expression. Apparently I can only half smile. My brother says go to the hospital and my sister and prince say wait for it to get better tomorrow. I'm so confused and tired I decide to sleep but first I message my mother in law and mother. I wake up to a stiff face (good thing I covered my eye during the night). I decide to go to the bathroom and I notice how I can't move my left face. I look at my phone with a surprising amount of answers from my mother in law and a friend saying I should go to the ER ASAP. My mother facetimed and she said to wait for the doctor, but I decided to go to the ER at 6am.

I get there and everyone is freaking out, while I'm so confused of why since I just feel stiff. They were afraid it was a stroke, gladly they calmed down once I walked since I had no difficulty or weakness in other parts than my face. The still made tons of tests. I now know I'm not pregnant and I am very healthy, no neurological problems either.

So my Bells Palsy, seems to be a mistery that not even Sherlock can solve. I started using a patch for the day, but this one is very unconfortable and I sadly have no extra money to buy a $14 dollar one that will be comfy as hell.

What a start of my year, with a challenge! Well now I should get to cosplaying 2face, I could totally pull that off no problem now. :P

I say good morning to all from my bed, where my dog and prince share blankets too. And I'm just wearing a night patch to prevent my unclosing eye from getting dry and damaged. It has felt like I have nothing and just a patch... Then I smile or eat or talk and my challenge begins. But I'll be fine, I bet I look like a badass when I go out with a pirate patch, Bettie page bangs and maybe even more when I take my boston terrier for a walk.

Only one person has laughed at me at the mall, and my prince told them to fuck off. he's been so helpful and my siblings make me smile as I make them life at times, but it's ok, cause I'm laughing too.

Everything will be ok, I just need practice. This is the start of day 3 from a 6 week journey to being back to normal. I got this.
