Swine Flu Confirmed in My Neighborhood!

There is a school (Highland Elementary) on the other side of my block that was closed down last week because of the pandemic scare. Apparently, 13 kids in a single class got sick. Well, today, they reported on the news that the Swine Flu had been confirmed - just what I needed!

Looking at the glass half full : We heard from my mother-in-law this week - she's paranoid of catching it, so she canceled her plans to come out here later this month. Aw, what a shame !
