Today was Cleaning Day. Which usually means that my husband tells me to get off my lazy ass and we do the vacuuming and dusting and everything that's out gets put "away." (ie: where you don't see it out anymore.)
This kind of cleaning leaves me frustrated and unsatisfied, so I took the reins yesterday, though.
My husband LOVES to watch Clean Sweep and thinks that I'm a pack-rat of the worst breed. Ok, so I am. But I'm also very lazy and throwing things out leaves me exhausted. So what I did was take the worst closet (the one in the computer room) and empty it of all its contents. Then I proceeded to build up a "to throw away" pile. When my husband saw what I was doing, he was pleased as piss. This is how I like to clean. Total purge and rearrange. And then maybe dust and vacuum.
Today, we did the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. All that's left is my craft room (which I did this to two weeks ago, but now I have twice the shit in there. That's how I kept things I didn't want to throw out but couldn't verbally justify keeping. "Oh, that can go in the craft room." Right. On the floor, in a pile.)
And now we're going to reward ourselves with delivery chinese food.
