I moved to Canada in 2020, yes, world pandemic and i decided to change countrys. Despite the world crisis and crazynes I felt so welcome here that I don't regreat my decission, not even for a second.
This has been my second winter here and winter is rough, it's very cold, even though beautiful and there's a lot of activities to do, It's soooooo loooooooong, almost 6 months of darkness and cold, wich can affect your mood pretty hard, Vitamin D is key in all this.
Yesterday i was walking back home and i started to see the colours of spring, trees growing leafs, grass and plants sprouting out of the soil, little pretty flowers here and there... I can't tell you how happy this made me, a warmer breeze in my skin, the sunight in my face the smell of spring in the air. My mood changed yesterday, the gloomy dark days are getting to an end
Don't get me wrong, there's something magical about winter, it's beautiful in it's own way, the snow its so pretty! But it's just too long here.
