Haha, that's awesome that you liked a Troma movie. Tromeo & Juliet and Citizen Toxie are really the best two Troma produced movies out there. There are a couple of movies that the company distributes but didn't originally create, like Blood Sucking Freaks, that are even better, but as far as what Lloyd Kaufman has directed, those first two are the best.
I'm a fan more because I respect how independent and controversial Kaufman has kept Troma. He's literally in a class all his own in that respect. Anyway, glad you liked it!

GWAR was playing the Sounds of the Underground Tour that's been going on about a month. It's been mostly a big metal and hardcore fest with names under the Ozzfest radar. I actually posted an event on it in the DFW group months ago, since March or early April to be exact.
The only Straight Edge band that played the entire tour was Throwdown, but they've been really playing down sXe because--according to Madball's merch guy--"they don't want to alienate new audiences." So that's their excuse for a more numetal-ish sound and alienating the crowd that they started with, which is the enthusiastically Straight Edge hardcore crowd.

I even gave my first girlfriend a ninja turtles action figure as a gift. Geeky, huh? i was wokring at a toy store at the time when we met.
i spoke to her years later and she says she still has it.
it was nice meeting you last night. Hopefully there wil lbe more SGDFW events and we'll all get to hang again soon. I'll be posting the photos as soon as i can.
