I take my RN licensing exam tomorow morning. Kinda scary. Even though I have taken two years of nursing courses, had over 300 clinical hours, and have my bachelors of science in nursing...if I fail this exam I will no longer be a nurse. (For you very observant people-I know my occupation description says RN, thats only bec I dont feel like explaining what GN means). Anyways, if I fail I will get demoted to tech position.

But, Im not gonna fail, im gonna do good and im gonna pass. Bec Im good enough, im smart enough, and gosh darn it! people like me.

GWAR was playing the Sounds of the Underground Tour that's been going on about a month. It's been mostly a big metal and hardcore fest with names under the Ozzfest radar. I actually posted an event on it in the DFW group months ago, since March or early April to be exact.

The only Straight Edge band that played the entire tour was Throwdown, but they've been really playing down sXe because--according to Madball's merch guy--"they don't want to alienate new audiences." So that's their excuse for a more numetal-ish sound and alienating the crowd that they started with, which is the enthusiastically Straight Edge hardcore crowd.
