Ok, so here are the pics of Penny and I in NYC.

I met up with her the first night I was there to go see her friend's band. Her friend is VitaminE, he plays bass in the band. Check out his page in order to find out more about his muzac. We went to Pianos, a bar on the lower east side. The bar was really crowded, yet there were very pleasant bartenders and a very hot sound check girl. She is tatooed girl pictured below. (the one the right was the singer for the band).

After the show, VitaminE suggested we go to the Olive Bar for some falafel. For those of you unfamilar with falafels, it is ground up chickpeas/parsley/other stuff which is deep fried. You put it inside a pita pocket with other stuff, like tomato/bell pepper/cucumber sause or whatever else you like and then enjoy! Sooooo gooood. Actually I didn't like it at first, but I was hooked by the end of my stay. Here we are after a satisfying meal.
This place was super cool, because you could draw on the tables and they had old Charlie Chaplin movies playing by projector.

The best part of the night was when Penny and I walked downstairs to the cellar of the Olive Bar, which is actually a venue called the Comedy Cellar. We went down there to use the shitter, and to my surprise......fucking Dave Attell is on the stage doing his standup. I am such a huge fan of his, and it would be a dream come true to hang out in NYC with him. I didnt get to actually hang out with him, bec they werent filming, but it was still cool to see him.

On Friday we hooked up again. My Dad says to Penny, "what are you girls gonna do tonight?" And she says to him "well I think were gonna go have some beers and maybe get tatoos." She wasnt kidding. I got a flaming apple tat, and she got 7 circles tatooed on her back. We were tatooed by Jason Micheal at Addiction Tatoo. He is super cool, so if you are ever in NYC go to him! He let us drink beer in the shop, and stayed open super late to finish my tatoo. I only have a pic of mine, didnt get a shot of Pennys.

Later that evening we went out for our beers. We shot some pool at a place called Ace something or another, I cant remember. While there we met up with some people from Tex, and followed them to a bar called Manitobas. Which was an excellent punk rock bar that had all these black and white 8X10's of old rock bands. People like the Cramps, David Bowie, the Damned, etc. It was very cool. Here is a pic of us, and another Tex girl in the cellar.

The next day Penny, Dad, and I went to see the statue of liberty. We didnt actually get off on the island, we just took a ferry around. It was sooooo flipping windy and rainny...you see
While on the ferry we saw lots of cute, yet very goofy, French sailor boys. We got a pic with them after we got off, arent they funny?
After that we went for sushi on the LES, and VitaminE joined us. The whole resteraunt was filled up with this neato orgami, I mean the whole place!

Then after that we stuffed ourselves even fuller with gelato.
We did a lot of eating! NYC has such good food! Well there is more to say, but im getting antsy, and I need to get a beer.
