My weekend was sooo awesome. Had Sat and Sun off. On Sat we saw Dwight Yokam at Cowboys in Arlington. It was a good venue to see him at, we had a good 'ol time with our beers and jello shots. Met two couples at the show. One of the couples were some great two-steppers. They showed us how, which was super fun. I was so sure I was gonna fall on my ass when he started spinning me around, since I had on platform heels. It was a great show, my only complaint was the fuckin sawed-off busboy who spilt my beer all down my side, and didnt even appologize.....fucker!
And last night we saw the QUEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was frickin great! I got to meet J. Queer. Well, I had met him before, but this time I actually had a conversation with him. Even got some pics with him.

When I was asking him if we could take a pic....I was soo nervous. He's fucking Joe Queer. Jimbo said I was all giddy and gigly.
Shorty after we took this pic. He saw me and Jimbo sitting on a bench, and he just walks over and is like "is this seat taken?" Then he started talking about the scene, and all the stupid little kids who are more into the fashion than the music, and then he started ragging on "gay"-f-i. So fucking rad! He was exactly how I thought he would be. He's stern, but pretty friendly, and he loves to talk about music.
They played a bunch of good songs. It was actually a pretty long set...they probably played for close to two hours! They had the bassist from the Teen Idols playing with them. The same guy who was also on Teen Punks in Heat (cant think of his name right now.)
Such a good show, my ears are still ringing!
Then after the Queers finished, the Vibrators palyed a couple songs. I had no idea I would see the Vibrators there, or ever.
Before they came on J. Queer started yelling at the people leaving the show. He was like "get back here you fucks! this is the fucking vibrators. come back and show them how punk rock Dallas is!"
So I could go on and on.......but I wont. Bec Im sleepy, and your probably already getting tired of reading this. But, I am going to leave you with a redicoulosly cute picture of my friend's brand new baby.
