This past week was really good, really busy for me but good. On Thursday I worked at the Bad Religion concert, I was able to see the whole concert, both the Dropkick Murphy's and Bad Religion were great but I thought Bad Religion played better. They played a lot of old stuff, like No Control and I Want To Conquer the World which are two of my favorite songs. I wished that I had gone to it and not worked it, I was put in a position that I really should not have been working, they had me watching the crowd making sure nobody was trying to sneak from the stands onto the floor and since I am such a small person I was absolutely useless and couldn't stop anyone.

On Friday and Saturday I worked at both of the Alexisonfire shows, both days I was on bus detail, which means going in early and watching over the buses until the concerts starts. I thought it would be a shitty position to work but it was actually kind of cool because you get to see the band and see stuff most people wouldn't, like I watched Dallas Green and a couple of their crew skateboard in front of their buses after the night.

On Sunday and Monday I worked at Rancid, I was also on bus detail for these two days.
The first day I had been outside for a while and I decided to go inside and I found Rancid and the Aquabats playing baseball, inside Mac Hall, with a big plastic red bat and one of those big plastic balls with holes in it. I watched for a while and went back out to the bus, they played both days and the Aquabats won.
The first night I didn't get to see any of the concert, but while I was watching one of the backstage entrances I hear someone knock on an outside door, so I go open it the guy on the other side shows me his backstage pass and asks me how to get around outside, I point him in the direction he needs to go and as he leaving he asks for my name so I tell him and he says to me Hey I'm Matt from Rancid and goes off. It was so dark outside I had no idea it was him.
The next day I'm standing outside in front of the bus and I hear a voice from behind say Hey Jen and I turn around and it's Matt from Rancid, I couldn't believe that he actually remembered my name. He asked me for some more directions and before he went some fans came up for an autograph, while he was signing me told the kids that I was his personal security and that if they tired anything I was going to take them out. On his way back he hung out and talked to me for a while and he showed me a picture of his kid who was so cute, he was so cool and such a nice guy it totally made my day.
That night I got to see the whole concert, the Aquabats dressed up like superhero's and pretended to fight they also played great, Rancid's set was amazing and I got to kind of hang out with a friend that I had not seen in forever, I had such a great day.

I went to two job interviews, one at a Best Western and the other at the Westin both for working front desk. I haven't heard anything back from the Best Western and don't think that I'm going to. The interview at the Westin went really well and they are going to get back to me either way, I am really keeping my fingers crossed that I get the job.
