so my theory that if a tenant has to walk by and drive by the trash they left out (that dogs and cats spread all over the yard) for 3 days they will eventually clean it up out of self respect if not respect for the other 5 tenants has been proven:

not so much trashy neighbors, but snooty. which is rather depressing... I always considered myself rather amiable. they even look right at you when you say 'hello' and then turn away, saying nothing. i'm really not that horrible to look at (I think).
