PIRACY ON THE SEAS OF CHEESE
Someone at Trinity Gallery in Philly just informed me that there's a guy in the area that has been setting up a mobile display of prints of my work and selling them as his own.
The gallery manager was handed a flyer or something with one of my images and confronted the guy asking him if it was his work... He identified himself as "Mowser" or something like that - she said he mumbled and it was hard to understand the name he said.
So he said that yes it was his work rather sheepishly and she said "That's awesome - you know I'm having your show here next month" and he apparently got rather squirmy and when she told him how he could be sued for selling my work he said "Yeah right sue me, everything I own is in that car over there"...
So if you see some greasy hippy trying to sell my work in the Philadelphia area be sure to put your foot up his ass for me.
