Yesterday was a lot of fun. We took tons of pictures, got some really cute shots. Heidi dropped the pictures off to me on disc this morning at school. Unfortunately, I don't think they are going to get accepted. They are pretty dark, both in background and in lighting. The backdrop she set up looked pretty awesome with the theme, but it was just different types of fabric draped on the walls. I've noticed that that kind of setting is also a no no. Yea, the poses were great... facial expressions were more varied, but it's still just not right. I'm probably going to send a couple shots to Rigel to see what she thinks, but I'm not expecting to submit the whole set. I just need the one idea that pops... it will all come together sooner or later. And if it doesn't, well, I'll try something else.

I didn't sleep for shit last night. At midnight I still wasn't tired, and then finally sort of passed out. I was up again at about 3 or so, because the battery in one of the smoke detectors was going dead, so it beeped all night. I didn't fall back asleep till close to 5, and had to be up at 6:30. It SUCKED.

And now, to drown my boredom and lame-feelings in a bowl of ice cream. Rocky Road? Or Butter Pecan?
