It's been a long weekend. But, it's been a good one!
Friday - Took the munchkin to see Disney on Ice. It featured the Incredibles, and it was their adventure through the magic kingdom. It was lots of fun, and she had a good time. It made me want to go to Disneyland really badly. Speaking of Disneyland, I made our hotel reservations for our December trip. Hooray!! So, there are only 54 days until that trip
And we are definitely going, which makes it even more exciting.
Saturday - Woke up, missed practice to take Jason to class. Picked him up a little while later, came home, got stuff together for the game and went to pick up SB. Had lunch and margaritas with Ali, Ron, SB, Dave, Julie and Zoe. Went to the Halloween store for fake blood and zombie stuff. Went tot he game. Left early. Went downtown and covered ourselves in blood in the parking lot (I swear, the police will show up wondering who we killed). Met up with the other zombies and shambled down congress, banging on windows and creeping people out. It was a lot of fun.
Sunday - Went to lunch with Don and Craig, went to mom's to work on Jay and Tatum's costumes. Got left home with no car and missed scrimmage (which is why I'm sitting here now and not at practice like I should be. Are we seeing a trend here?). I feel like I am going to have trouble making eligibility this time around, because Halloween falls on a Tuesday (VICE practice) and the All Souls Procession falls on a Sunday (scrimmage and league practice). I looked on the calendar and should be able to make it, as long as I don't miss more than those two days. Thankfully after tomorrow, we should have two cars again.
Now I am bored out of my mind. Tomorrow it's back to school (where I might get to do Annie's hair), and then shopping for a rosary and a dress. And maybe finding some gold cord/ribbon for the front of Jay's coat. Tuesday is Tatum's field trip to the Pumpkin farm. I think this week will be just as long as the weekend! And next weekend is looking just as busy. Eeep. I need some ice cream.
