And it's just another day in the life... bleh
I've been wanting to get my hair cut and colored for ohhhh 3 weeks now. Since I'm on the floor, I can get the cut for free, and the color for 5 bucks. But, I keep having shit come up. Classes at school where I miss an entire day of floor work and can't finish my grade sheet, jury duty... It sucks. One of these days, though, I'll get it done. I'm adding some layers in the back for texture and doing the same red color as before.
Levi (my brother) decided the other day that he was going to delete the virus scan/blocker from their computer, so once again I had to disconnect the whole thing, bring it home, and clean it out. I'm really thinking that I am going to just reformat the damned thing. His excuse for deleting it? It hadn't been run in more than a week (according to the add remove programs list) and it looked like a suspicious file. I smacked him on the back of the head, and wrote a big note that says "Amber is the computer master. Please call with any questions". I am so sick of fixing their shit. Then he uninstalled firefox because he said he was getting too many popups from it.
Finally, I can't go to practice tonight because Jay took my car (with my gear in it) up to Catalina with him to play D&D. Bah, I wanted to hit some people too. Me, Julie and Alison have a bet going and I am sad to miss the first night of it.
On a better note, I gave haircuts to both my mom and SaraBelle, and they both really liked it. I also did Julie's highlights (it was the first set of foils/bleach I've ever done on a real person) and they looked fantastic. She was really happy with them, which of course made me ecstatic. I didn't win any awards at the Wheelies the other night (not that I was really expecting to, but it would have been nice anyway), but VICE won favorite team again. Woohoo! I took some pics, so I'll definitely put those up soon.
I've also got another idea for a photo set in my head, so now I need to get some lights and possibly a pink dress. I can't submit it until the first week or so of December, and I won't shoot it until November 9th, so I have plenty of time. We'll use my new bad ass camera and see what we can make happen. No theme, nice and plain-ish. Not too boring, though.
And now, I am pretty sure the episode of CSI with the furries is on, and I have never seen it. So I bid you all a nice Sunday! And, if anyone needs a manicure or pedicure (or any other service) make sure you get an appointment with me

You can still hit people, just wait until it stops raining, and run down the street and start shoulder checking. Big fun making people fall down in puddles.
