I only have a couple words to describe last night - Bruce Campbell is fucking amazing. Jay and I got the chance to get copies of his books signed and talk to him for a minute at a screening of Bubba Ho-Tep (which, if you haven't seen it, please do). It was cool. He did a whole question and answer session that had us all rolling.
I've had three clients this week, 2 yesterday and one today. Yesterday was my first color (eep!!) but she loved it and it turned out really well. My second client was this sweet little old lady who wanted a shampoo and a blow dry, and just wanted her hair to look pretty. Today I had another color (which is good for the experience, but bad when I am trying to fill out my grade sheet). I still have to do a cut, foil highlights, manicure, pedicure and facial this week. The floor is crazy!! But I've made 12 bucks in tips this week so far. I'll have to start saving them up in a jar or something for vacation money!
Speaking of which, is it time for Disneyland yet? We are supposedly going in December for the munchkin's birthday, if my psycho mother in law can get the time off. I'm crossing my fingers, especially since we need to know soon in order to start making plans for hotels and stuff. I hate doing things at the last minute.
