Winnie is officially amazing!! Yesterday we went out into the desert to shoot my set, and I really think it turned out well. Of course, I thought the same thing last time, but this time I am even more impressed. The lighting was awesome, as it was slightly overcast and the suns rays were nice and diffused. The pics are very clear, which is an improvement on my last set as well. We ended up not going with the original theme that I had planned, but a slight variation on it that I think worked really well. My only worry is that we didn't get enough poses, but I think near the end we definitely had more.
We ended up shooting 217 pictures total, and when I got home I did a quick and dirty edit to pull out all the ones that I really hated (ie thought they were really unflattering or I had my eyes closed or whatever). Even after that, I still had 190 that could potentially be submitted for a set. I put all those onto a cd and handed them over to Winnie who offered to do a more thorough edit and pull out all the ones she thought were the best and most likely to be accepted. She should finish it pretty soon, and then I'll be able to submit.
I'm crossing my fingers
Whenever I find out which I'm submitting and get them in, I'll post all about it. My best friend also just submitted her initial application to the site, so I'm crossing my fingers that she gets through the application process as well!
