Too many goodbyes this weekend. frown Went to CT friday night for one last goodbye to my best friend. Last night spent some final time with one of my good guy friends who's moving to AZ today. It seems like my friends are all dying to get off this coast.

My thoughts are that in an older, congested area like the east coast, and Pittsburgh in particular, all of the people with ambition leave for better things. Even if they don't exist, the perception of the greener side of the river sucks people in. And the ones that are left are the ones who's fears or lack of said ambition keep them in the places they are comfortable with. I know this is not the case for everyone, but for the most part. I am of the variety who have left, and returned for one reason or another only to long for the other place. So I too will (hopefully) be evacuating the East Coast within the next year. But finishing school is definitely a good reason to stick areound, at least for a little while.
I've never been to New England. The closest I come is to New Jersey. But if you are ever in Pittsburgh, you have an open dinner invite

sucks about the job frown been out of work myself since January. You could always clean pools, the opening season starting up next month, I know its only seasonal but for the time your in it you can make really good cash. I've been doing it for two years, and lucky for me rich people are dumb cause as long as their pool is clean they'll pay whatever you put on the bill and probably tip you to. And truthfully the life of a pool man is great (especially with all the housewives biggrin ). look into it you'll be glad ya did.
