Too many goodbyes this weekend. frown Went to CT friday night for one last goodbye to my best friend. Last night spent some final time with one of my good guy friends who's moving to AZ today. It seems like my friends are all dying to get off this coast.
Other than that, it's just the usual. Lots of school work and lots of basketball game-watching. Had a bit of a freak-out last night about my decision to stay in Worcester for another year. My Wootown friend pool is going to be seriously lacking after May, so that concerns me a bit. It wasn't a huge pool to start, but I would like to meet new people to try to expand from my tiny little group. So all SGers in the Worcester area, watch out - I may have to stalk you until you become my real friend. wink I'm dead serious.

My thoughts are that in an older, congested area like the east coast, and Pittsburgh in particular, all of the people with ambition leave for better things. Even if they don't exist, the perception of the greener side of the river sucks people in. And the ones that are left are the ones who's fears or lack of said ambition keep them in the places they are comfortable with. I know this is not the case for everyone, but for the most part. I am of the variety who have left, and returned for one reason or another only to long for the other place. So I too will (hopefully) be evacuating the East Coast within the next year. But finishing school is definitely a good reason to stick areound, at least for a little while.
I've never been to New England. The closest I come is to New Jersey. But if you are ever in Pittsburgh, you have an open dinner invite

More than happy to be stalked for your pool, Worcester is not a far drive from Framingham. In fact I have to be in that area in a couple of weeks for my next DEP meeting if you need another drinkn' buddy just ask.
