So it really is true that once something is on the internet it stays there forever. I was last on this site 11 years ago and my profile here is exactly how I left it. Lots of woe is me posts about how hard my life is and how lonely I was. Oh how naive, if only 23 year old me knew what was to come.
But yes, after 11 years I thought I would come back to see how the site is now and to try and engage in the community on here. As expected with this length of hiatus it looks as though any people I interacted with back then are no longer here and some of the groups are also no longer around. As to be expected, as my life has changed so has everyone else's, and indeed the world around us.
This is not an I am back permanently, it is I am back to visit and see how things go. Like a guest start in a tv show, they can either appear for a couple of episodes and never been seen of again, or at the next season become. regular. Only time will tell.
So if anybody somehow manages to find this and wants to interact feel free. All are welcome. Or if you have any recommendations of groups that would be great.
Right now I am off to explore.
