Back to real life:
3 weeks of holidays are over. Bam that hits you hard. Back to slavery.
Just one hour ago I brought my sister back to the airport. She is flying back to Germany now.
Tears running and it is very very hard to say good bye. For how long? I dont know. It might takes me a while to get used to it again. Living without my family. It is hard to let go, every time.
Anyways, here is what we did:
The first week we did Sydney and everything around it. We went to the Blue Mountains for a long long hiking tour, we did all the giant stairways and walked around in the valley. 2100 or something stairs and a 6 hour walk. Very exhausting but beautiful.
We walked around the city ( After we got a $125 parking ticket, we decided to walk) and took the ferry. We enjoyed and relaxed until Friday came and we went out to Kings Cross..
Man that was the hardest part of our holidays. Cant write much about it, all gone, lost in the universe in and around my head.
A weekend relaxing and organizing cars and flights.
2nd week:
As my car is nice and funny and lovely but very old, we rented a car for 4 days and went north - west to do a Outback tour. We went up towards Lightning Ridge in New South Wales.
As my sister is a Goldsmith she is very interested in Gem Stone and where is comes from. We went to see a couple of Opal mines and beside that we saw a lot of NOTHING. We took a bath in the 46C springs in the middle of the night and counted the stars. There is really nothing up there but it has something nice and interesting. How people live out there is very interesting and kinda amazing too. I think it would be a good experience to go somewhere like that and just live with them or like them for a while. But I would have to go back to civilization after a while. No mobile service out there. No No No, me without a mobile phone is like soup without water.
We went back to Sydney on Thursday and spent a night there in a comfortable bed and with no desert dust everywhere.
Friday we got back in a car and went down south through the Kangaroo Valley towards Jerves Bay. We stopped at Morton National Park to look at the water falls.
We stayed the night in Jerves Bay and went to see some very beautiful beaches down there. Looked like in paradise. My sister said the same thing I said when I came to Australia. She said that it is like living in a big zoo. All this animals. Dolphins, Pelicans, Parrots and and and. In Germany we have animals like that in a zoo or you see them on TV. Too cold and too many people I guess.
We came back to Sydney on Saturday afternoon. Saturday evening we went to see a Soccer game in the Aussie Station. Australia vs. Solomon Islands. Was all right I have to say. Soccer Games in Germany are much more exciting. More violent I guess. J This is not a soccer country but for that is was good. My lovely man bought a Aussi Yellow and Green Shirt for my sister.
Sunday we had a relaxing day with shopping and movies.
Monday morning we had to get up very early to get to the Airport.
5 days up in Cairns. Nice little town and good things to do. We went on a Rainforest trip and again did a lot of walking. We went to the beaches up there to go for a swim. Weird that you can only swim during the winter month up there, otherwise you get stung by one of this nasty Jelly fish. It was hot and quiet.
We went on a big Catamaran for a day sailing out to the Great Barrier Reef. We tried the scuba diving and snorkeled all day. Amazingly beautiful out there. We swam with huge turtles and all kinds of very colorful fish. We saw some sharks, quite big but harmless (they say) and we spend a couple minutes on a little sand island in the middle of the ocean.
We came back to Sydney Friday evening and went out for dinner and some drinks.
Well yesterday (Saturday) was our last full day together and we spent every minute together. My sister packed all her stuff and kept saying: If I wouldnt have my job back home I would stay here right away
She didnt stay frown
She has got a lot of responsibility back home with her job and she is very lucky to have such a good job.
It is difficult to get used to be without her again but I can handle it and I still have this very nice and lovely person here I care about very much and he is here when I get homesick and he is here when I have my wild and difficult 5 minutes once a day. J I have to say to myself that I am very lucky I found such a nice person how seems to really like me how I am.
Ok for now that is it and as soon as I got some pictures made smaller I will post them.
Take care you all!!!
L. kiss kiss
One for now: entrance to one of the Opal mines. Nice hats!!

It's a pity you can't convince her to stay in Australia, it's a good place. But Europe is also excellent. I've tried to get a few of my US relatives to move here but they won't - crazy!
