I just finished the final corrections on my novel ya hoo! as a dyslexic writer this is always the roughest part of the job. Every simple missed word calls up those voices of teachers who told my mother I wasn't very smart, and those bitchy cruel kids who called me dummy. I have spent so much time on this planet fighting with those voices. Fuck 'em.
Its 6am and the birds are chirping and chittering away. I am a bit disappointed in the "boards" I had some real questions I hoped to find info on. The price of beauty, sexual trafficking and such but only got a few answers. A young woman as for help on a survey for a religious studied class, she got three responses. there were 350 pages on butt plugs. It must be an age thing, not that butt plugs aren't interesting, there is so much else also to think about. Life beyond titillation is wild and entertaining. Cynicism is a cultural weakness in these times, we see sincerity as silly and out of date. As a romanticist I feel as I have so often out of step with my times.
Don't get me wrong i love this site, As life timer in the subculture I love the SG attitude. In-Powered women rock!
Ah well so life goes on and on. Time to start tip tapping away on my next novel and see where my head and heart will lead me.

I don't think the boards are so much an age thing as they are a cultural attititude: too many here that can't see the forest for the trees because their hard-on is in the way. I'm only 25 and I can't understand most of the people here; I was either born a year or two too late or just maybe in the wrong place altogether.
