I had a similar dream around age ten that I've never managed to forget. I had a terrible flu at the time and it was giving me the most vivid fever dreams, one of which involved my family and I appearing on Family Double Dare. This was, however, not the normal Double Dare, but some sort of sadistic, torturous corruption of the formula. We had made it to the Physical Challenge, and surveying the course, I saw that the rollers, normally made of soft foam, were concrete, and there were spikes embedded in them. In place of slime, there was a phosphorescent goo that I for some reason knew was a chemical solvent. In the dream, I remember begging Marc Summers not to make us go through the challenge, that we would forfeit. He turned to look down on me. His face had a sinister cast to it. After a moment that seemed an age, he cocked his head back and laughed. And then I woke up.
And that, kids, is why I can't watch that show Unwrapped on the Food Network.
