Last week I was selected to be on jury duty. It sucked. It was a DUI trial and the only people that spoke English were the police so everything needed to be translated taking twice as long in an already slow moving justice system. it was difficult just staying awake. We ultimately found the guy guilty on all three counts... DUI, expired license and having a blood alcohol content of more then 0.08. It wasn't like Law and Order at all

Then as soon as I'm on my way home I found out my grandmother passed away, so Sash and I will be heading back to Illinois this week for the funeral. It's sad but I think it was her time.
