i stare at the blank state of ruled lines and i map out control. Unseen miseries cross moonlit paths on harsh concrete. cigarette gasps and heavy hearted thoughts. drunk on your perfection - past forsaken lies. the burden has just begun. aimlessly chasing to tame my reality in better days. sweaty palms on naked shoulders searching for a beat. i've set myself up for a fall with a crisp shallow destiny and with quiet stinging glares. something else. bloody feet, running, you're gone... severed heart in two. frozen over you.
