last night was my first night alone at the new job.
and i ended up being 13-ish dollars under.
i called my boss and told him what happened.
it was really complicated because something happened with the register and i meant to void a sale. but it didnt actually void the sale. and i didnt know until i was closing and 13 dollars under.
the truth is: i only THINK thats what happened. im not positive. but theres really no other explanation. so i just really hope thats what it was.

That sucks. It's one of the reasons I don't miss retail sales. I had a similar thing happen once a long tie ago. I was closing out the register and it was about $67 short! We spent about two hours going through every purchase and finally found that one of my employees had suspended a sale but hadn't cleared it from the computer. Ugh.
