i got a job. cross that, a REAL job!

i got a job as a legal secretary/jr. paralegal. it's in a newer firm that has only been open since february. there are 3 lawyers and one paralegal. so, i will be doing all the basic "secreatarial" work, plus i'll be second to the paralegal... hence "jr."
this is the break i have been needing!!
i am so psyched!! it's a part time job to start off with (m-f 10-4) and should lead into something full time in a couple months. i am sure they just want to see what i can do and if i can work with them and the other lady. i'm starting next wednesday.
i found out about this firm from d magazine. in an article called top lawyers, in dallas, under 40. so, another plus is everyone i will be working with is close to my age... not like most other lawyers i have worked with before.
so, again let me say how happy i am.

what are the plans for memorial day weekend? anything in the works in the dallas area?!
i have a bad ass pool at my complex, so if anyone is up for some water volleyball or just lounging and drinking by the pool... i'm down. my patio is also finished so it's a for sure must see!
