Welp.
All the predictions in my last blog post turned out to be very wrong. Instead of taking naked photos this summer, I went to sing Cosi fan tutte in Germany. Whatevs.
And then I came home and haven't been able to sing for almost a month. Joy of joys. I should go to a singy-person doctor to have them look at my throat. Awesome.
That said! Germany was brilliant and beautiful. It does that. I stayed in a house in Weimar, which is the quaintest, most lovely little town; everything is cobblestone and trees that frame gorgeous little roads. It's lovely.
And then Scotland. I went just because the ticket and tour was cheap, but what can I say? Edinburgh is a city of almost spiritual beauty, and that's before I even got to the mountains and cliffs of the Isle of Skye. That stuff changes you.
More to come. Maybe?

Glad you had fun, sorry about your voice. The way you describe Weimar makes me picture the town in Beauty and the Beast and your Belle, walking along the cobblestone streets singing

Germany and Scotland sound so beautiful with its scenery. I'm glad you got to go and I love to see more photos from your trip
