Hey everyone!
I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your beautiful lives :)
I've had an insanely busy few weeks, and the highlight most certainly was performing at the Manchester Interntaional Tattoo Show with Chaos Dolls (the fire breathing group I'm part of) and Famous Inked Models; absolutely exhausting weekend but the experience was great.
We did two catwalks showcasing clothing from independent brands who came to trade at the convention, which I don't mind telling you was fucking terrifying! I've never done catwalk in my entire life and I absolutely suuuuck at walking in huge heels, yet *somehow* I managed to smash it!

We also did the Skin Deep photo booth where we try to lure in convention-goers to take some pictures with us, which was a great giggle because the majority of the models I was working with are my best friends and we have a tendency to get a little bit silly when the mood takes us!
Finally I got to perform some fire breathing, body burning, fire eating and a funky little jazz routine on stage alongside my girls The Chaos Dolls! I've been part of Chaos Dolls for a little over a year now, and his was our second Manchester Tattoo Show, we'd all created individual pieces to put together, and a grand finalé that involved all of us - kind of like a show within a show!
On the first day my bra strap came off in the middle of my routine, and I had to sling it across the stage Nd hope nobody noticed, which threw me off. Fucking perfect. The second day and many safety pins later, I couldn't have been more happy with my performance! I'm a professionally trained dancer (Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tap blah blah), but since having my daughter I've not been able to really perform on stage much, which is 100% where my heart is, so this performance meant the world to me and was a wonderful feeling knowing I'd just smashed it's back doors in as it were ;)
Pretty cool right!? I'm definitely gonna spend a lot of 2015 on perfecting and widening my fire performance skills!
I also met some amazingly cool people who I'm gonna stay in touch with for sure, it's really refreshing to know that there are some lovely people left in this industry who just want to be nice and DONT have any ulterior motives :)
