Are there really people fucking stupid enough to think there really is a Bigfoot? Jeesh.

RIP Bernie Mac, one funny dude. RIP Isaac Hayes, Chef.

I'm the type of guy who, when sent an email that says "donotreply" feels the urge to reply, just to shake things up a bit.

A (sorta) new Star Wars movie is opening in less than a week and I find myself unable to care very much. How did that happen? Next Friday I am...

My new insignificant pet peeve? Glad you asked. It's when people write "should of" instead of "should've". I am not a grammar policeman by any means but that is annoying. I also get slightly irritated when people mix up "it's" and "its", It took me thirty years, but I finally figured out which was which. Now if I could only keep left and right straight...

Kudos to the makers of the carbon monoxide alarm in my house. It was a SUPER design idea to have it beep EVERY THIRTY FUCKING SECONDS when it is on low battery, Nothing better than a "chirp" noise twice a minute waking you up (and not letting you get back to sleep) at 3:00AM.

Awesome. I feel fresh as a daisy dappled with morning dew.

Just saw a live performance of The Fab Faux, a Beatles tribute band. It was cool because they didn't try to ape the moptops by wearing outfits (costumes) or talking in a mock-Liverpudlian accent (with all the requisite "gear" and "fab" bullshit). Just five guys playing solid tight Beatles songs. Highly recommended, a splendid time is gauranteed for all (get it?)

They played I Am...

The Dark Knight lived up to the extremely heated hype. I was afraid it wouldn't just because everyone was going so ga ga over it. Heath Ledger was awesome and it is a shame he isn't here to see his work be so appreciated,

I just finished "Vern"'s book Seagology about all the Steven Seagal movies. It was cool because he didn't just mock the films, but really appraised them. It was a good, fun read. It reminded me of the 19 year old me that loved shitty action flicks (y'know, afore I discovered Fassbinder and/or Scorcese). Seagal is a curious cat, as he manages to sneak in subversive...

Ok, so whilst I was at Wegmanns (awesome grocers, yo) I noticed a lot o' yuppies (or should that be "lotsa yuppies"????) and I was all, like, carrying my groceries when one of the said yuppies pushing a cart made me all back the fuck up, but when he did, the 12-pack of Diet Dr Pepper Cherry Vanilla soda gashed into my right arm. It...

I saw Ringo Starr (and his all starr band) tonite in concert. It was good. I am a plenty big Beatles fan (who isn't) and I hafta admit that it was spine-chilling to see a real live Beatle sing Beatles songs ("A Little Help From My Friends" and "Yellow Submarine"). Ringo might have always been the coolest Beatle, and e certainly is now. Good-voiced and...

RIP George Carlin.

I saw him in Atlantic City about two years ago and he was on fire. Angry, pointed, intelligent and extremely funny. I am happy I got to see him perform once live in person.

Too many cool people in the entertainment business have died recently.
