I had one of the most enjoyable times at the movies in recent memory today. I saw the Fathom Events simulcast of the Monty Python reunion show. Excellent fun, loads of laughs. They did a lot of their classics just like the Stones doing Satisfaction or Jumping Jack Flash. Greatness. I cannot stress enough how influential these guys have been. The mixture of stupid low comedy and highbrow intellectual wit is their patent. I only wish I could have been at the actual O2 Arena where it was performed live. I shall be getting this when it inevitably turns up on DVD (hopefully with some cool extras).
