Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, and David Marks should be allowed to call themselves The Beach Boys, for they put on a better show than the legal Beach Boys (AKA Mike Love, Bruce Johnston, and Pals). While Brian Wilson is pretty passive for a headlining artist, I am thankful that he's able to tour at all. I saw him in concert tonight and was quite impressed. A damn good show! Plus, they played a song from my favorite Beach Boys album (Friends).
Next Friday I am seeing Wilco, My Morning Jacket and (Yay!) Bob Dylan. The following day I am seeing Bon Jovi with The J. Geils Band opening. I like having broad music taste.
