Is it a funny idea to have a bunch of right-wing christians insist that Heavy Metal music has satanistic messages in it if you play it backwards becoming they themselves satanists when hearing it during a demonstration on, like, CNN in 1988?
I think so. I luv the idea that blowhard bible-literal-truth-believers can, by their obsession with Metal, becoming...like, obsessed with metal (or posessed).
I need to mock Bible Literalists. How can you believe the Bible as literal truth? Even the people who wrote it seemed to get that the stories were parables not recorded accounts of actual events.
I am not anti-religion, but I find it very hard to take seriously those who are into Creationism.
In happier news, Milk is FINALLY playing near enough to me to see it. So I shall. I will also see Slumdog Bazillionaire and The Reader within the next four days. Then I will have seen all the Oscar nominees for Best Pic and will finally have love in my life...
