Starting to feel confident that right wing religious republicans may soon not be holding the world at sway. I don't want to jinx it, tho'. Keep Sarah Palin working her "shuchks soccer mom" routine and I am pretty sure it will backfire with the very people it's supposed to impress, who may be mny things, but aren't stupid. I think the Republicans, after eight years of W, think they can spin any story they want and people will swallow whole. I think that, as Midnight Oil put it, their "DreamWorld is just about to end...fall.."

In happy news, I got Oasis tix for Madison Sq Garden in December. For once I actually got really good (not great) seats. The two times I saw REM there I was in the nosebleeds, so it is nice to be somewhat closer to the stage.

Weezer was good last week when I saw them. Not great, they were somewhat sloppy. The opening act Angels and Airwaves...I don't get it. Why is that good? Then, I didn't like Blink 182 either. So that just goes to show. Show what? Beats me.

I am going to a low level wrestling match tomorrow as an early B-Day Present. ECW champ Raven is fighting, so if I get a pic with me and Raven I will post here (can'tca wait?) ECW was awesome in the day. The idea of going to an indie wrestling match is neat, so let's see how it is in practice.

I just finished a book about Guns N Roses, and pulled out their old stuff. It still rocks to me, tho' I get why people may hate it. It is fun in an obvious kind of way.
