I am going to try to keep up with this. I put in one entry a long time ago, which was asinine. I finally put up a picture for my profile (I don't normally wear sunglasses but my eyes look weird in pix, at least I think they do) and joined a group. I figured I should be trying to be more participatory on the site, not just looking at pictures and reading the occasional interview. My supposition is I will be the only person that reads this, more than likely. Tomorrow I plan on taking the train into NYC to see the "final" cut of Blade Runner, which should be fairly awesome. I saw it twice in its 1992 re-release (the Director's Cut) and have seen it about ten times on various video formats throughout the years. It is a movie that never seems to get old, and each time I see it I find something new in it to ponder, either philospophically or in the imagery. How odd that the movie has a rep (unfairly earned) for being cold and lifeless. I find it bold and passionate.
