Kudos to the makers of the carbon monoxide alarm in my house. It was a SUPER design idea to have it beep EVERY THIRTY FUCKING SECONDS when it is on low battery, Nothing better than a "chirp" noise twice a minute waking you up (and not letting you get back to sleep) at 3:00AM.

Just saw a live performance of The Fab Faux, a Beatles tribute band. It was cool because they didn't try to ape the moptops by wearing outfits (costumes) or talking in a mock-Liverpudlian accent (with all the requisite "gear" and "fab" bullshit).
